I don’t know about you, but I have a ridiculously hard time trying to coordinate my family for our own family pictures. To make it a little easier for you, each month I’m gonna try and post a what to wear for that season to give you some ideas. Here are some fun spring family session outfit ideas.

Well… I did it. I went out and bought the new D800. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, the file sizes are HUGE so I need new memory but the video part is kind of fun. I’ve never been one to do videos but with all my lenses I might start trying to do them a little more. Here is a “test” photo shoot with my kids in print and video.

I just went live with my new FLASH PAGE and STORE. I’m excited and hope that viewing and ordering will be easier for my clients. Last weekend the hubby and I got away and headed up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. We had a fabulous time in LaConner and ate at the LaConner Brewery, I had the best pizza I have ever eaten and I will be going back. My husband was a trooper and hung with me Saturday morning while I shot some of the tulips that were in bloom. If you’re ever in the area around the middle of April make sure to check it out. Aghhhh… I’m kind of really, really nervous. I’ve never entered a photo contest before, but saw this contest put on by Chic Critique and thought of this session in particular. I loved this session, and figured I could always use some critique. How do you get better and grow without some honest to goodness critique??
